Action needed on bus shelters says local MP

Bus shelter in Cotmanhay

MP calls for action on bus shelters

'I was asked by Trent Barton Buses to see for myself the shocking state of the bus shelters.  The Borough Council are responsible for their upkeep and they maintain they clean them eight times a year.  Trent Barton tell me that many shelters don't get cleaned for months and months.'

'I will be calling for a meeting between the Council and Trent Barton to resolve this.  The current situation is unacceptable.  People deserve better.'
